Dan Jennings is a Partner and Financial Advisor with BDO’s Halifax, NS office, where he advises Atlantic small to medium-sized entrepreneurs (SMEs) on various accounting, financial and business advisory matters.  He specializes in business valuations, mergers and acquisitions, determination of guideline income for family law purposes, and business loss quantification for litigation (including expert reports and expert witness testimony).

Since 1998, Dan has been practicing in valuation/M&A/litigation in a variety of industries across Atlantic Canada.  He has acted as either a buy- or sell-side M&A advisor in many business purchase/sale transactions.  He has also presented on various topics to a wide range of accounting, banking, legal and business groups in the region.  He has been trained in collaborative family practice as a financial intermediary.  In addition, he has been accepted as an expert witness in the Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and federal Tax courts.
