Catherine is a graduate of St. Francis Xavier University and holds a B.A. Honours in Political Science.  Following graduation, she spent five months working for a Peruvian non governmental organization.  Catherine then moved to Vancouver and completed her Master’s degree in Political Science and her Law degree at the University of British Columbia.

After articling at a national firm in Vancouver, Catherine came to Nova Scotia and has joined Creighton Shatford as an associate. She was called to the Bar of Nova Scotia in November 2009. Catherine is developing a practice in the areas of civil litigation, family, real property, estates and business law.  Catherine is pleased to offer clients her collaborative family law services by helping clients resolve their issues in a dignified and cost-effective way without having recourse to the traditional court system.
